All articles published in the IJPBAR journal undergo a double-blind peer review process that is strictly followed to ensure the quality, originality and scientific integrity of all articles published. In this system, reviewers' identities are kept anonymous from the authors and the other way round, which ensures fairness, objectivity and unbiased evaluation.

The peer review process is intended to evaluate the scientific and technical value, relevance, methodology and overall contribution of articles received to the disciplines of pharmaceutical, biomedical and health sciences.

Review Process

1. Initial Editorial Screening

Each manuscript is evaluated to ensure that it is submitted to the appropriate field of study for the first time by the editorial staff.

• Compliance with the journal's scope and objectives
• Adherence to submission guidelines
• Originality and quality of the manuscript
• Ethical compliance and plagiarism screening

Manuscripts that are not found to meet the requirement of the journal can be returned to the author for corrections and/or rejection prior to peer review.

2. Double-Blind Peer Review

Manuscripts that make the cut at the initial screening stage are then sent to qualified independent reviewers who have expertise in the subject matter of the manuscript.

During this stage:

• Reviewer identities remain anonymous to authors.
• Author identities remain anonymous to reviewers.
• Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on scientific quality, originality, methodology, clarity, relevance, and significance.

3. Reviewer Recommendations

The reviewers, based on the review, may make one of the following recommendations:

• Accept without revisions
• Accept with minor revisions
• Accept with major revisions
• Reject the manuscript

The editor's staff takes into account all the reviewers' remarks before deciding.

4. Author Revisions

Authors must respond to the reviewers' comments and submit a revised manuscript if they are asked to make revisions and must include an explanation of the revisions made.

5. Final Editorial Decision

The final decision for publication is made by the Editor in Chief or editor assigned by the Editor in Chief after reviewing the manuscript. The authors are informed of the results by the communication system of the journal.

6. Publication

Accepted manuscripts are then sent to copyediting, formatting, proofreading and final publication in the journal.
